# Quickstart

Build a complete voice agent in 5 minutes — no code required.

1. **Sign in**

   [Create a live-layer account](/sign-up) or sign in. You'll land on your dashboard with a default starter agent.

2. **Open the agent editor**

   Click **Agents** in the sidebar, then **+ New agent**. Pick a template — for this walkthrough, choose **Sales Assistant**.

3. **Customize the persona**

   In the agent editor, set the agent name, the persona prompt (one paragraph describing how the agent should behave), and the voice. The dashboard plays a sample so you can hear it before saving.

4. **Publish**

   Click **Publish**. You'll get a unique URL like `https://livelayer.app/a/your-agent` and an embed snippet. Visit the URL to talk with your agent in fullscreen, or paste the snippet on your site.
